CNC Shearing

Because shearing is often the initial step in a series of processes, shearing performance often determines the finished work pieces accuracy and quality. Shearing productivity starts here with our Cincinnati shears. ACC-U-RATE is currently utilizing two (2) Cincinnati Shears to cut material into the required sizes. Our Cincinnati shears deliveries more parts per hour… superior quality blanks, with greater machine uptime.
Our Capabilities:
• 26ga to 1/4" Mild Steel
• 26ga to 3/16” Stainless Steel
• 26ga to 3/8” Aluminum
• Cutting Length: up to 12' long

Shearing as with all metalworking operations, accuracy depends greatly on how firmly the work is held during the cut. A heavy, uniform pressure is applied along the full length of the work piece, minimizing slippage regardless of variations in thickness.
Pneumatic sheet support, material handling systems and the programmable features of multi axis gage controls are brought together to further enhance the accuracy, quality and speed that is required by today’s sheet metal fabricators.
Multi Axis Gage Control
Computer controlled multi axis gauging offers greater productivity and blank quality with reduced setup time, faster gage positioning and increased accuracy. The result is a more flexible shearing center that can handle a wide array of jobs.
With Pneumatic Sheet Support
Improved shearing accuracy by locating sheet material properly against the backgage Pneumatic Sheet Supports elevate material into a horizontal position flush with the shear table so it can be supported level with the pass line. This virtually eliminates blank inaccuracies due to unsupported and poorly positioned sheets.
Material Handling System
With our sheet processing system material loading speeds are greatly increased. With our vacuum powered sheet lifting / loading system. Sheets are lifted from skids and safety loaded into our shear, utilizing the over head gantry and trolley system. Once the sheet is loaded into our 78” precision feed table, then the sheet is feed into position and the feeder tells the shear to cut, material is feed to the next position and cuts again. The process repeats till the sheet is totally sheared to its pre-programmed blank sizes.
A sheet conveyor safely removes finished blanks for stacking at production line speed. Sturdy material supports guide blanks away from the shear table, minimize sheet sag and allow material to be firmly positioned against the backgage for increased part accuracy. Bar-type supports are available for handling 26 gauge through ¼” material.
The conveyor is combined with a separator that automatically separates troublesome scrap from finished product, further boosting production efficiency. A third combination, a conveyor / separator / stacker, eliminates the need to manually stack finished blanks, freeing the operator from a time-consuming task that decreases overall productivity.
